# Maxime Perriard > Maxime Perriard — finance × AI. I build AI systems inside the companies that need them, from the first conversation to production. Every system drifts toward entropy. I move through its layers, find the singularity where order breaks, and turn it into insight you can run. Finance × Tech × Luxury on a long-term horizon, measured in ventures developed or bought. ## About I am a business administration and finance graduate of the University of St. Gallen. While I was preparing to enter the usual graduate path of internships and entry-level jobs, I did my research and ultimately decided that an entrepreneurial path would bring more experience and lead me to my objectives faster. I believe in unique paths that, in spite of their inherent difficulties, lead us to our very own destination if we put in the work. Building and engineering ventures for my clients and myself is a passion of mine, what the Japanese call monozukuri (ものづくり), the craft of making things well. I like to think of myself as a chameleon, as adapting to my environment has become second nature. I am building for the long term with short-term iteration loops. This brings me back to the Epic of Gilgamesh, the oldest story we have. A king crosses the world to find a way not to die, and fails. He comes home with nothing, climbs the walls of Uruk, and sees the city he built. That is his answer: a life lasts through what it builds. I have travelled to 40 countries, and the lesson holds in every one of them. I do not try to outlive the work; I try to build work that outlives me and empowers people’s dreams ✨, starting with the foundations nobody sees. ## Work: From silos to business intelligence I read a business in four dimensions: data, people, process and time. Where they meet, there is a singularity. That is where I build. - **Data**: I start where the evidence is: the CRM, the CMS, the business intelligence tools and the files in Finder. I clean the silos, then connect them, so the insight can finally be extracted. - **People**: I sit with the people who live the problem and map the work as it really runs, not as the org chart says. The system has to fit their hands, their language and their tools, not the other way around. The goal is a seamless, efficient integration. - **Process**: Processes are often set in stone. I infuse them with automations and agents, which brings back agility and frees hours of work for what actually moves the business. - **Time**: A system has to hold against entropy. I build for the long horizon, researching every method, conventional or not, that lets a system improve itself over time. Results: - A 2‑week‑old website receives a 6‑figure contract. - Business intelligence work helps a startup close a CHF 1.5 million fundraising round. - “Outstanding work, as though you have been working for us for years. Thank you very much. I couldn’t imagine that we will achieve such a level of professionalism.” - From 0 to 10 qualified leads in 17 days. ## Ventures Each venture is a live test of the same method: sit with the problem, engineer its solution, and iterate in public. Some are mine, some I build with family and partners. - **Growis**: Making your business visible to people and legible to machines - **Hallebardier**: Your insights organised into Business Intelligence with websites as a by-product - **Erebaur**: Transparencifying the buying and selling experience in the precious stones industry - **Vanilor**: A future vanilla farm that’s on a quest to revive flavors - **Tausendwerk**: A business by agents, for your agents - **Serai**: An iOS app for you to better your language pronunciation ## Field notes - LinkedIn, Field notes: "I will spend the money and make the mistakes.
