This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising tools. It has no forms and no accounts.
Hosting
Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) hosts the website. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address, the time, the address you requested and your browser type (user agent). This is necessary to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks. Cloudflare keeps these logs for a short time only.
Photos from Unsplash
Some photos load directly from images.unsplash.com (Unsplash, USA). Your browser then sends your IP address and the name of this website to Unsplash. No other data goes to Unsplash.
Colour theme
If you switch between the light and the dark theme, your browser stores your choice (local storage, key "theme") on your device. It never leaves your device, and you can delete it at any time in your browser.
If you write to me, I use your email address and your message only to answer you. The email service is Google Workspace (Google, USA).

Transfers abroad
Cloudflare, Unsplash and Google can process data outside Switzerland, including in the USA. They use the safeguards that the law accepts, such as the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, for its correction or deletion, and you can object to its processing. Under the GDPR you can also ask for data portability.
